The Age of Grace
Jesus is raising up a generation of people who know it’s all about Him – His unmerited, undeserved, unearned favor
• Generation of people with a fresh revelation of Christ coming back into the church
• Generation of people who know where the power lies – where?

Where Does The Power Lie?
Rom 1:16
…“gospel is the power of God to salvation’

Salvation in the Greek language means = Soteria = all the blessings = salvation, healing, etc –
• There is nothing more powerful than the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ –
• Generation of grace – Grace = Jesus glorified, not man

The secret to reigning in life lies with receiving everything that Jesus has accomplished for us on the cross

The Number for Grace = 5

First Words Joseph Said To Benjamin – “God Be Gracious to you my son”

The typology of Joseph in the Old Testament is a type of Jesus -
• Brothers rejected him – Jesus brothers, the Jews rejected Him
• Then they didn’t recognize him the first time round
• Both ministered to criminals, one lived the other died –
• Jesus savior of world – Joseph saved the people during famine

Joseph wept when he saw Benjamin – all brothers had same Father – different mothers
• Rachel & Leah
• Leah= weary = represents law
• Rachel = ewe = represents grace – Jesus the lamb of God
• Many in the Church today all have the same father but different mothers for eg,
• Hagar = law & Sarah = promise (some Christians have Hagar as their mother and others have Sarah – these are the Christians under grace) 

Why did Jacob got tricked into marrying Leah?

He didn’t unveil his bride
• Veil = law – veil has been removed in Christ
• 2 Cor 3:14 …‘their minds were blinded for until this day the veil remains un-lifted in the reading of the Old Testament – because the veil is taken away in Christ” –

• Those under the law (man’s self effort) are still under the veil

Joseph First Words To Benjamin
Gen 43:29
“God be gracious to you my son”
• Important feature about Benjamin is No 5 is stamped over his life
5 speaks of Gods provision through His grace
• Benjamin serving was 5x’s as much – Gen 43:34
• Benjamin he gave 5 changes of garments – Gen 45:22

No 5 Appears You Will See Gods Grace Manifest
• David bought 5 smooth stones = 1 Sam 17:40
• Jesus multiplied 5 loaves to feed 5,000 – Mark 6:37-44

Last generation symbolizes Gods grace of Provision
Egypt is a type of world
Egypt = gave them all the silver & gold = they are getting all their pay back
• Everything the church has lost is coming upon this generation – the church – repayment
• No one will lack –

The way God will do it?

There will be so much favor on the church
• People will flock to you – they wont know why
• Time to live by grace

E.G. Ester was chosen – why? – God gave grace to Esther

Benjamin Name Shows A Picture of Grace
Gen 35:18
• Rachel named him Ben-Oni which means – “son of my sorrow”
• Jacob intervened and named him Benjamin – “son of my right hand”
• “Your right hand upholds me – Ps 63:8
• When we were born our destiny was Ben-Onis, son of sorrow – Jesus intervened & dies on the cross we are now Benjamin, sons of my right hands

Jesus Became A Man of Sorrows – So we don’t have to be

“Raised together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” –

Benjamin Generation – “Son of My Right Hand”

“Fear not, for I will strengthen you; be not dismayed, for I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
• Right hand symbolizes Gods righteousness
• Righteousness is a gift – Rom 5:17

Gospel Revolution Is All About;
You have become
Now walk it out in your life

Understand what has happened – You will manifest who you are –
• Sons of God – heirs of the world – A generation of sonswho will reign as “Kings”

No Longer Dominated by Sin – sickness, lack etc
Rom 6:14
“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”
• Sin has dominion under law
• Sin wont have dominion under grace – living out of your Spirit (out of you belly/spirit) shall flow rivers of living water
Successful – Favor – Blessed

Generation will Understand “Son Of My Right Hand” – Son-ship – you are born of the spirit
Rom 8:15
“For you have not received the spirit of bondage to fear again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption (son-ship) by who we cry Abba, Father.”
• What makes you a son? – His Spirit in you
• His spirit of a son – not just adoption
• He is our Abba – Father
• The opposite to Abba Father = “Spirit of bondage”

Remember = we don’t live for the blessings = we live in Him –You have Him, you are blessed

Seal Of Son-ship – Heir
Gal 4:3-7
• Redeemed from being under the law
• No longer a slave – you are a son
• Son – heir of God through Christ

Where Did Bondage to the Elements of the World Come From?  (death, destruction, depression, lack, etc)

Through Adam the curse came into the world

• Jesus is the last Adam
• Jesus came and redeemed us = bought us out of slavery – out of the slave market (dominated by death & destruction)
• Old things are now passed away and all thing become new – no more tears for the those in Christ

Reason Why We Are Blessed

Jesus cried out “It Is Finished” 

The Power of the Cross:

John 19:30

“It is finished!” Old Testament is finished – New Testament has begun –

“And bowing His head, He gave up His Spirit.”

• To give us His Spirit – same spirit that is in Christ Jesus is in you
• God sent His Son – made sin  =  So we could become His Son – made righteous
• The fire of Gods vengeance burned Him with our sin – so the fire wouldn’t fall on you
• His body was broken with sickness & pain – so your body doesn’t have to be broken
• He became a curse – so we can be blessed

• He was in darkness – so we can be in light
• He became poor – so we might be rich

Jesus died on the cross – not because you won’t ever sin again – (other wise Jesus failed) –

Jesus died on the cross so your sins won’t be held against you – (Thank goodness or we’d all be in trouble!)

Therefore do you know the secret to reigning in life and where the power lies? 

The secret to reigning in life lies with receiving everything that Jesus has accomplished for us on the cross

If people don’t understand that Gods grace is His undeserved, unearned, unmerited favor – they will depend upon their own efforts

If people don’t understand their right standing – not right doing, they will resort to their own way of doing things

Which is called the law (man’s dependance on self-effort to achieve – rather than dependant on His Grace) 

2012 – “The Year Of Unceasing Fruitfulness”

Jer 17:5-8

• Cursed is the man who trusts in man & makes flesh his strength

• Heart departs from the Lord
• He shall be like a shrub in the desert
• He shall not see when good comes
• He shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness – in the salt land which is not inhabited

Blessed

• Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord
• Whose hope is the lord
• He shall be like a tree planted by the waters
• Which spreads out its roots by the river
• And will not fear when heat comes
• But its leaf will be green
• He will not be anxious in the yr of drought
• Nor will cease from yielding fruit

How Will You Be Blessed In 2012?

Put Your Trust & Hope In The Lord – That’s why you are blessed

Hope = elpis = expectation of good

The heat is on in the world –

• Blessed man – When heat comes blessed man won’t see it

• Cursed man – can’t see the blessings when they come to take advantage of  it – they cannot see good things that are right under their nose (don’t appreciate spouse, good church etc)

Puts their trust in their own ability and they have no ability to see & receive blessings from the Lord

• Blessed Man – When you see famine in the world – you are too busy looking at someone – Jesus (Peter kept his eyes on Jesus – he could walk on water)

God will prosper you in the year of drought – Won’t cease from yielding fruit

Cursed Man

• Makes flesh his strength –self effort – Instead of trusting in the Lord
• Trusting in self be like a shrub in the desert – dried up, haggard
• Law (self effort) is You working – Grace Is God Working

 How do you know if you are under the law/curse or blessed /grace?

• Law put focus on you – Grace puts focus on Jesus (Jesus does it for me by His spirit in me)
• Law activates the flesh – Grace activates the Spirit

Under law you will never inherit Gods Blessings –

Good News For Cursed Man:

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law – not just the curse of sin

Gal 3:13,14

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us….that the blessings of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus…”

• Redeemed from the curse of the law through Jesus finished work –

Now the blessings can begin to flow!!!!!!!!
